Certainly one for my bucket list! A sold out show of 18,000 people gathered together for an extraordinary evening celebrating hip hop greats. A pleasure to work with and create transformative visuals for The Roots, Queen Latifah, Common, Digable Planets, Arrested Development, The Pharcyde, and Black Sheep. So many unforgettable moments—I will never forget the incredible rehearsals, the impromptu post-gig dance party that happened in the Roots camp (and closing the place down), nor will I forget the amazing music Black Thought introduced me to moments before we started the show. And as always, a pleasure to work with one of the most talented lighting designers in the industry, Robert Bloom of RBB Digital.
